The new grooming salon is now fully operational and is being run by Jackie Williams and her team from Groom Masters. Jackie has run Groom Masters professional dog grooming since August 2004 when she completed a professional dog grooming course at Top Dog Grooming in Oswestry. She also holds an ICS Pet Grooming Diploma which has enhanced her theory of dog grooming techniques and standards. As a further qualification, Jackie intends sitting the City and Guilds grooming examination in 2008.

It is very much a family run business with 3 generations of Jackie’s family involved – both her mother and daughter helping to ensure everything runs smoothly. This also ensures a personal touch at all times – from initial appointment to the welcoming of you and your pet at the salon, through to the bathing, grooming and discharge.

Our policy of ensuring all pets and people are made to feel at home and at ease at Pet’s Choice Veterinary Centre is mirrored in the way that Jackie works with her clients. She will spend extra time with 1st time animals and young or nervous dogs with an emphasis on building trust and an eventual bond with the dog. No force or muzzles are used in the salon and if required, the dog can be examined and sedated by Garth Tozer- the veterinarian. If requested, other veterinary procedures could be combined with a visit to the grooming salon and an appointment made at a suitable time.

Once again, we are very proud of the facilities and would be very happy to show people around. Please call and let us know first though as it can be very busy in the salon.

The entrance to the salon is at the back of the surgery and it is very easy to drive around and park directly outside this back entrance which also caters for wheelchair users.
