Today was a first for Telford! Our clinic hosted a blood drive for the Pet Blood Bank- the first time such a drive has been undertaken in Telford. We had an extremely good turnout from our own clients and some other dog  owners with a total of 11 dogs able to donate during the course of the afternoon.

It was one of the best responses the PBB has had and we are very proud of the efforts of Rhian Jones in encouraging clients to register for this worthy cause. The PBB have requested that we run these drives on a regular basis for them, so if you are interested, please contact us or them to register your dog.

We realise how difficult it is to run a charitable organisation - particularly when many dogs need to be fed and housed. With this in mind, we decided to make a donation of money, food and bedding to the Hilbrae Dogs Home for stray dogs. Angie Mark and Jack the lurcher - an ex-resident of the home - came along to the practice today to collect the donations. We hope that this will help the plight of the strays in some small way and will continue to support the home when possible.
