Rhian organised another fun and informative pair of puppy parties for 5 puppies over the last two weeks. The puppy parties involved information for the care of puppies, behavioural problems you may encounter with your puppy, training, grooming and socailisation of your pup with other dogs and people. As shown in the pictures below I think they all enjoyed themselves! We organise these parties on a regular basis so if anyone is interested in attending a party please give us a call. The puppy party is usually spread over two evenings to allow the puppies to become accustomed to their surroundings and not be overwhelmed.

We realise how difficult it is to run a charitable organisation - particularly when many dogs need to be fed and housed. With this in mind, we decided to make a donation of money, food and bedding to the Hilbrae Dogs Home for stray dogs. Angie Mark and Jack the lurcher - an ex-resident of the home - came along to the practice today to collect the donations. We hope that this will help the plight of the strays in some small way and will continue to support the home when possible.

Rhian's Border Terrier bitch is the proud mother of 3 beatifull pups. Delivered today by caesarian section, all 3 pups and mum are doing very well. Although on her afternoon off, Rhian had to return to the surgery in a hurry with Bella as she was having difficulty whelping the pups. It just goes to show- even animals belonging to vets and nurses can have problems!
